1. Who We Are
EVScout is an analytical and educational tool for evaluating sports betting parlays. We are not a sportsbook, we accept no wagers, and we never handle wagering funds. This Policy explains what data we collect when you use the Service, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
2. Account Data
When you create an account we collect your email address and authentication metadata (including basic profile information from Google or Apple if you sign in that way). We store the content you create in the product — saved preferences, evaluated parlays, tracked bets, and price alerts — so it is available across your sessions and devices.
3. Usage and Analytics Data
We collect aggregated usage analytics — pages visited, features used, performance and error events, and coarse device/browser information — to understand what works and to improve product quality and reliability. Analytics events do not include your personal financial data. Where anonymized product statistics are published, they are aggregated across many users and cannot be traced back to an individual.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
We use first-party cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember UI preferences such as filters and your selected sportsbooks, and hold in-progress evaluation drafts. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell data to ad networks. Blocking cookies or clearing local storage will sign you out and reset saved preferences.
5. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to operate and secure the Service, authenticate you, run evaluations and generate plain-English explanations of the values our engine computes, provide support, process subscription payments where applicable, and comply with legal obligations.
6. Third-Party Processors
We rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, database and storage, odds market data, AI text generation, payment processing, and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. Only the computed metrics needed for a summary are sent to the AI provider; your account identity is not part of that request.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We disclose data only to the service providers described above, when you explicitly share an evaluation link, or when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of users.
8. Data Retention and Security
We keep account and product data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterwards where needed for legal, security, or accounting reasons. Access is protected by authentication and row-level database access controls, and data is encrypted in transit. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights and Choices
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and you may delete your account at any time from your settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, or to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. 10. Age Requirement
EVScout is intended for users 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age, and we will delete such data if we become aware of it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. We will update the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be communicated in the product or by email.
